An explosive debut in a two CD set...
A spectacular debut for the Pretenders! This is the 2 CD version with the second CD loaded with demos, B sides and live tracks. This band is a musical marriage of punk and prog rock who, even in it's most passive moments, still remains riveting. Chrissie Hynde's vocals and rhythm guitar blended with James Honeyman Scott's lead guitar riffs are mesmerizing enough, and then add one of the most powerful rhythm sections in rock history, bassist Pete Farndon and drummer Martin Chambers and producer Chris Thomas and THE most unique sound in rock was unleashed to the world! Still remains one of my favorite bands! And got it at a good price to boot!!!A spectacular debut for the Pretenders!
