Our Right to Refuse to Sell

Refunds, Cancellations and Returns
 
 
 
Cancelling your Order
 
Once you have placed your order you have the right to cancel, from the moment you place your order until 14 days after the day your wheels are delivered to you, your nominated address or safe place.
 
If you are returning the wheels because you have changed your mind (after 14 days) the cost of return shipping is not covered by ZED.
 
Orders which are for custom specifications and to personal requirements (invoiced or ordered as custom) cannot be cancelled.
 
 
 
 
Faults
 
Within the first 30 days if the wheels develop a fault, then you are entitled to request a refund, or we will offer to repair the wheels.
If the wheels develop a fault, we ask that they are returned to ZED. Using a third party to perform any repairs on the wheel may invalidate your warranty. If you decide to use a third party, we will not accept any responsibility for any costs involved.
If the wheels develop a fault, then we will provide a free returns label. If you opt to use a different courier, we are unable to refund any shipping costs.
 
If the wheels develop a fault within the first 6 months (but after 30 days) then we will offer to make a repair to the wheels (this means that the wheels need to be returned to ZED for investigation).
 
If we offer a replacement part without the wheels being returned, we maintain the right to have the wheels returned for an inspection / repair (to the ZED workshop), the replacement part is a courtesy to the customer to save time, it is not a repair.
 
If the wheels are returned to ZED within the first 6 months (but after 30 days) due to a
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
fault, we will provide you with a free returns label. You do not have to use our courier, but we will not refund these costs.
 
If the wheel develops a fault after 6 months then the return shipping is not covered by ZED. Once we have the wheel in the ZED workshop it will be inspected to see if there is any evidence of a warranty fault.
 
If the fault is covered by warranty then we will repair the wheel and return it to you free of charge. If the fault is not covered by warranty then we will advise on repair costs before carrying out any repairs. If the work is chargeable then we will not cover the shipping.
 
 
When returning any wheels to ZED (at any time), we accept NO responsibility for the wheels until they arrive at the ZED workshop. We recommend customers use a tracked shipping method with adequate insurance. Please ensure the courier will not just leave the wheels. We do not have a safe place. All deliveries must be signed for / accepted.
If the wheels are lost in transit whilst returning to us, we accept no responsibility to cover such losses.
 
All wheels returned to us should be clearly labelled to indicate the reason for return and who has sent them. This should be a copy of your original invoice and the returns form with returns authorisation number. If these documents are not included it may result in delays or lost wheels within the workshop.

Easy 30 day returns
 
Orders which are for custom specifications and to personal requirements (invoiced as custom) are not eligible for the 30 day return.
 
Certain models are not included in the 30 day return scheme. Please ensure that your model is not excluded from this scheme. Details of excluded models can be requested.
 
If within 30 days of receiving your wheels you are not happy with them you can return them for a refund or a product swap.
 
We cannot offer a refund on any wheels that have crash damage, any other damage or any faults.
● The wheels must be returned in the original box with any supplied accessories.
● To return the wheels please follow our returns procedure.
The 30 day warranty is not applicable to products that have been incorrectly installed, adjusted or maintained.
The 30 day warranty is not applicable to damage to the product caused by a crash, impact, or abuse of the product.
● The 30 day easy returns is not applicable when the product has been modified.
The 30 day easy returns is not valid on wheels used for commercial (rental) purposes.
 
If you try to service the wheels or repair any fault yourself (including using any other professional other than ZED) you will invalidate your right to return within 30 days.
 
If you do return a set of wheels within 30 days we reserve the right not to sell further wheels to you.
 
If you wish to return your wheels within this 30 day period, you must have emailed (susannah@zedbikewheels.com) stating that you wish to return the wheels before the end of the 30th day.
 
Notifications after 30 days will not be accepted.
 
 
The wheels must be returned within 14 days of your notification.

After 30 days we do not accept returns unless faulty.

Refunds
 
We strive to process refunds within 28 days from the acceptance of returned goods. However, please note that third-party processing time may occasionally result in longer delays. Refunds will primarily be refunded through the initial payment method used for the purchase. If the initial payment method is unavailable, refunds will be made via bank transfer.
 
It s important to note that cash refunds are not available under any circumstances. Refunds will be issued in the same currency as the original payment.
 
If you instigate a claim against us for a refund from the card issuer or PayPal which we subsequently successfully defend or you withdraw, we will charge you any additional charges that we incur.
 
 
 
 
 
Events Outside our Control
 
 
Sadly sometimes events outside of our control impact on our sales and services. When a delay or failure is due to such circumstances we are not liable. Such events (but not limited to these) are power failure, internet service failure, courier failure, industrial action, civil unrest, fire, explosion, flood, storms, epidemic, pandemic or any other event that is beyond our reasonable control.
If such an event occurs, we will inform you as soon as is reasonably possible. Our obligations under these terms will be suspended and any time limits that we have stated will be extended accordingly. If these events do occur you still have the same rights to cancel as previously stated.

3 Year Warranty
 
All Zed Wheels come with a 3 year warranty against material or workmanship defects.
 
● The warranty runs for a period of 3 years from the delivery date
● The warranty is not applicable to products that have been incorrectly installed, adjusted or maintained
● The warranty is not applicable to damage to the product caused by a crash, impact, or abuse of the product
● The warranty is not applicable when the product has been modified.
● The warranty is not valid on wheels used for commercial (rental) purposes.
The warranty is non-transferable.
● The warranty is not applicable to normal wear and tear. Particular parts are subject to degradation as a result of normal use and this damage is not covered by the warranty. These parts include (but are not limited to) bearings, nipples and brake tracks.

ZED Lifetime Crash Warranty
 
 
● The crash warranty is valid for the lifetime of the wheel (excluding age related degradation).
● The warranty is not applicable to products that have been incorrectly installed, adjusted or maintained.
● The warranty is not applicable when the product has been modified.
● The warranty is not valid on wheels used for commercial (rental) purposes.
● The warranty is non-transferable.
● If you try to repair the fault yourself (including using any other professional other than ZED) you may invalidate your warranty.
 
We will either repair or replace the wheels (at ZED’s discretion).
● The warranty does not cover crashes within the first 30 days of purchase.
● The only cost you will incur is postage.
 
 
The warranty must be purchased within 7 days of delivery of the wheels.
 
A crash can be described as colliding with an object or another bike / vehicle. Hitting a pothole is not considered a crash, hitting a pothole is classified as a road hazard.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
Warranty Claims Procedure:
 
 
 
If you believe that your wheels are covered under either the 3-year warranty or the ZED Lifetime Crash Warranty, please follow these steps:

Contact our customer support team at zedbikewheels@gmail.com and provide them with detailed information about the issue you are experiencing, whether it s related to a warranty claim or a crash warranty claim.

Our customer support team will guide you through the claims process and may ask for additional information or evidence to assess the validity or eligibility of the claim.
 
 
 
3.
If your warranty claim or crash warranty claim is approved, we will provide instructions on how to proceed with the repair or replacement of your wheels. Any shipping costs associated with the claim will be discussed during the process.

The 3-year warranty covers material or workmanship defects, while the ZED Lifetime Crash Warranty covers damages resulting from crashes (excluding road hazards).
