    Excellent router at an even better price.

    I needed a router that could do mer for Sky FTTC and this one does exactly that. As a bonus it also has a built-in VPN which is something else I was in the market for to save tying up a Raspberry Pi with that duty. The item came properly packaged in excellent condition and worked perfectly straight out of the box. For a 'refurbished' item it looks like brand new. The WiFi is excellent on it and the LAN is solid (the LAN failed on my Sky router necessitating the change). For the money (less than half the price of the cheapest 2800 I could find) this router is a no-brainer.

    quick to setup, good value and decent performance

    provider modem/router/wifi was playing up so needed a replacement. recently been a fan of TP-link products so decided to get another TP-Link. based on the specs this model made sense, it only took me about 10 mins to setup to connect to the web using its wizard. performance is excellent on the wifi and for my 40Mbs connection speed, so far stable. also built in qos was a handy feature to have which the provider router didnt have.

    Easy to set up, works well

    This was purchased for an adsl 2+ and was easy to set up. A month later the line was upgraded to a fibre (vdsl) line. It took all of 90 seconds to change the settings to match the new line. Wi-fi is good with both 2.4 and 5 ghz bands and is better than my old Draytek set up.

    Not Easy

    Too early to comment on overall performance but does seem to have faster response than my standard router supplied with BT broadband package, a lot of revues looked at before purchasing this router and I have to admit that at first I was beaten by it and couldn't configure the thing! After a lot of asking around its up and working so not a recommended router if like myself you aren't a techno geek!
