The lens arrived on time and is exactly as described. Have put it on my D7200 and it all works OK. I have to commend the packaging though. I haven't measured the amount of bubble wrap the box arrived in but it was huge. You could probably have delivered it by dropping it from a passing jet at 39,000 ft and it would have just bounced. I'm saving the wrap to insulate my greenhouse next winter. Brilliant service.

    Thank you, I got a good camera! There is an additional exposure control, which is exactly what I wanted. All buttons are conveniently located. The flip screen is also a plus. Minus - faded photos in cloudy weather. But, probably, the whole world without the sun is like this ... Thank you! I'm happy!

    Very happy with Sony Cameras and lenses

    I had a Sony A500 and had no problems with it for more than 10 years, was used mainly for action Photography ,Downhill Mountain Bike and Water sports in sometime very trying conditions Have every faith that the Sony A550 body I purchased will perform as equally well

    Great alternative to the masses of Canons

    Sony have really carved out a niche for themselves in the DSLR market. The 5 series of the Alpha range provide all the tools a serious Pro-amateur needs, providing both auto and full manual controls.

    Sony Alph DSLR A550

    As an Artist, I needed an entry level DSLR for Working Up Paintings. The 300 range was my first choice, at about £350. Sony's price of the 550 being £750 seemed to put it out of my range. Finding the A550 on ebay for £500 was the obvious way to go. As it has more features to learn in the future (saves trading in when you need more functions,) It does the jobs automatic for the novice, with most functions of the pro' cameras 700 series up avalable for when you get confident. I found a good review at http://www.dpreview.com/reviews/sonyalphadslra550/ The cameras size sits beetween the ranges 300-700 and feels like a quality DSLR, with one of the best lcd screens available. In short, if you want an entry level pro camera, this is the one.
