The Canon FD 35-70 mm lens is the world’s first telephoto lens made with a three-group zooming system and offers photographers a high level of portability. The Canon FD lens itself is made up of an eight-element/nine-group configuration in a two-touch tele-zoom design. In addition, the Canon FD 35-70 mm lens accommodates 52-millimetre filters. The Super Spectra coating on this Canon telephoto lens minimises unwanted reflections that can cause lens flare, thus producing clear images with vivid colours. Because of its three-group zooming system, the lens is compact compromising optical integrity. The Canon FD lens has a focal length of 35 millimetres to 70 millimetres, and it is capable of shooting macro images across the entire focal range. The aperture for this Canon telephoto lens ranges from f/3.5 to f/4.5. The ultra-compact size of the Canon FD 35-70 mm lens makes it suitable for on-location shoots as well as general and leisure photography.
