First rate transaction, excellent communication with the seller, camera exactly as described and delivered promptly and most impressively wrapped. Very many thanks, great service.

The lens arrived on time and is exactly as described. Have put it on my D7200 and it all works OK. I have to commend the packaging though. I haven't measured the amount of bubble wrap the box arrived in but it was huge. You could probably have delivered it by dropping it from a passing jet at 39,000 ft and it would have just bounced. I'm saving the wrap to insulate my greenhouse next winter. Brilliant service.

This is the first ever review I've written and it might be the last. The service from gbr13 is as good as it gets; from the ordering process to the communications during processing. The item was exceptionally well packaged for a fragile lens . I've only just begun to look at the item I've received but at first sight seems to fully justify the 'very good' description for a used item. I'm very happy with the whole process.

    Great lens

Many years ago I had a Pentax k camera and took many photos with it but very few good ones so I thought I would buy a DSLR camera. After a bit of online investigation I bought a second hand Canon D650 camera and it came with a 18-55 mm lens. I noticed that on the box it said that the kit lens was a 18-135 so I bought this 18-135 and what a difference, It feels much more solid it also has image stabilizer and it seems a much better and quieter auto focus. The images are very clear and sharp. I think the old 18-55 can go back onto ebay I'm sure someone would like it ,and perhaps get a macro lens.. .

  • EF-S 18-135

I already had a 17-85 IS and a 28-135 IS so wasn't sure whether or not worth buying this lens but the extra length seemed a good idea although I never got on with the 18-200 IS as a piece of kit. I'd thought about a 15-85 to go with my 70-200 L-series but not a cheap option and so far I've rarely missed the wider settings; if I need wider I use the 10-22 which is made to do the job of course. It's mainly used with a 7D but occasionally on a 40D and whatever the pixel or file size I've noticed minimal issues with barrel distortion or corner abberation even at f3.5 and either zoom extreme. If compared to my 100mm f2.8 and blown up to silly size you can just catch a little difference in out and out sharpness but much less than I anticipated. Close focusing is mediocre but you don't buy a ...

  • Good versatile lens.

Usual Canon standard, nice carry around lens, versatile focal length, not the fastest lens, so low light may be a problem without a tripod. Just have to raise the ISO to a suitable level.

  • Canon EF-S IS STM 18 - 135mm zoom lens

Have been using this lens for around two months now in a variety of situations. First, the bad news. It's a little heavy. That really is all the bad news. Images are pin sharp, focusing is fast, colour reproduction is excellent. I use this as my only lens as it works perfectly under all lighting conditions - particularly good in low light. The zoom range is ample for almost all situations and the lens is fast enough to capture great action shots. Images can be cropped if necessary and suffer from very little loss of quality. All in all, a really good general purpose zoom lens offering excellent quality at competitive pricing levels. You won't need any other lens except for specialist requirements. recommend it very highly. I use it with my Canon 550D

  • Great all-rounder.

Bought this to bridge distance between my 18-55mm and 55-250mm lenses to reduce swaps. Lovely zoom range, smooth zoom action and quick to focus - a great lens.
