Surprisingly easy to fit
This is the genuine Briggs & Stratton part. It proved surprisingly easy to fit to my Hayter lawnmower engine, just requiring a socket set spanner to undo 2 bolts and a cross head screwdriver. There are a number of YouTube videos showing how to do it - Just search for Briggs and Stratton lawnmower carburetor repair for surging engines. My lawnmower was a lot dirtier than the one in the video - I took care to clean as much as I could before dismantling it and covered the top of the carb with tissue to stop bits dropping in. The engine no longer surges and runs perfectly.This is the genuine Briggs & Stratton part. Briggs and Stratton Gasket set 795083
One of the pictures in the advertisement shows the product in the Briggs and Stratton plastic wrapping. The gaskets supplied were loose in an envelope therefore no way of knowing if they are the genuine article. This type of item needs to be of OEM quality to ensure good life expectancy. The items fitted correctly and functioned as expected only time will tell if they are the correct quality.

Make it Run Like New Again!
Servicing your mower's B&S carburettor is a relatively simple job that will pay dividends if your mower has been difficult to start, running rough or otherwise causing you to swear. But, make sure you use a genuine Diaphragm Gasket kit when you reassemble. You can then have confidence in a proper fit.

save a small fortune
brilliant,it cured the noise what is known as HUNTING the constant vvvroooom i believe, well that as gone and every thing is great...who would have thought 2 little pieces of rubber sorted it out,also youtube did me proud anything i was stuck on i reverted to that..so for those i doubt go on youtube...save yourself a small fortune in the repair shop.

Lawnmower Mayhem
If your Briggs and Sratton lawnmower is running rough or not at all andyou suspect a fel problem it is likely that it will be a worn out diaphragm causing the problem. A genuine part is cheap, fast delivery and a 30 minute easy job to fit with only a spanner and screwdriver required. There is even a short video of the replacement process on youtube.
