    Sharp, crisp and fast

    It is a great lens, focuses quickly and yields a beautiful sharp image with crisp colours. Offers a good range for everyday use. The only thing is the weight and the zoom ring is difficult to operate with the hood on the lens put backwards for when not really in use.

    A-grade lens for overall usage.

    Major pros: - AF fast and accurate - working as if there was no movement involved. - Image is sharp across the frame. - Build quality: solid as a brick, (but be careful, its size can be suprisingly big.) Minor cons: - Zoom ring works in counter direction to Nikkor zoom lenses - one can get used to it. - Lens cap: seems plasticy.

    Great accompaniment for a full frame Nikon.

    Bought this to match my first full frame Nikon Camera and it is superb. Firstly its built like a brick s**t house and is of outstanding build quality. This does make it heavy but no problem with OS built into the lens. It has a wide 82mm lens size which balances the look and feel of the heavy d800 Nikon. It's extremely sharp and a great street lens for everyday shooting. If you use a polarising filter the colours are rich and deep. 5/5.

    Excellent Choice All-Rounder...

    Very high quality build; lovely contrast and image quality. I usually stick with Nikon for Nikon but this is my first Sigma and I’m delighted with it.
