    Just what I needed...

    As an insomniac I wanted a radio I could retune during the night without fumbling about in the dark, and this fits the bill. It's small and neat on the bedside table. If I ask for a specific music piece it does try and sell me something from Amazon, but I'm not going to go for that. The sound quality is completely acceptable as far as I'm concerned. It's an excellent alternative to my old clock radio, and it plays audible tracks I have bought previously, which is great. I'm sure it's capable of a lot more, but I'm not really that interested in the technology. My partner is deeply suspicious about how much information it is gathering about me, but it does what I want, so that's fine by me.

    Good but clock too small to read at night easily.

    We actually wanted a new illuminated clock in our bedroom, for seeing the time in the night when it’s dark. So the echo dot is fine: works well, looks good, but the numbers on the clock are smaller than on previous clock-radio, and we find them quite difficult to read at night.
