I fitted this processor into a self-built machine (originally fitted with an i3-4160 two-core processor, with 16GB of RAM and an SSD), and it gave a very noticeable increase in speed. The main problem with installation, but this applies to fitting any processor chip, is getting rid of the old conductive paste in order to put new paste on. As for reliability, it is too early to say, as I have only had it for a couple of weeks- hopefully, it will last a good long time!

I've been running two of these in ASUS ROG Maximus Hero VI mobo.s since 2014 and been very happy with the performance and reliability. I thought to try an i7 4790k cpu and though it seemed faster, the OS could not restart the computer - like when Windows 10 wanted to upgrade to 1909 requiring multiple OS controlled restarts - it couldn't and after 3x off and on manually with heart in mouth, thankfully Windows uninstalled back to 1903. Found many forums threads on the issue, but no solution. So I'll put my 4570k chip back in and try faster RAM.
