Product Information
Certified yoga instructor Melinda Lee teaches a gentle yoga variation called "Spoga," which concentrates on stretching and relaxing, simultaneously slowing down and energizing the body. Divided into three 10-minute sections, Simply Spoga can be performed in 10, 20, or 30-minute sessions, depending upon the time available. After using a towel for stretching in the first section, Lee demonstrates the innovative Twirling, Calm Sea (essentially a breathing exercise while lying down), and Rising Tide for the abdomen, as well as The Wave, a gentle stretching pose. Lee also provides easier modifications for each exercise. Spoga combines Kundalini, Tibetan, and Hatha yoga elements with aspects of aerobics and Pilates.
