The lens arrived on time and is exactly as described. Have put it on my D7200 and it all works OK. I have to commend the packaging though. I haven't measured the amount of bubble wrap the box arrived in but it was huge. You could probably have delivered it by dropping it from a passing jet at 39,000 ft and it would have just bounced. I'm saving the wrap to insulate my greenhouse next winter. Brilliant service.

    great all round lens that covers all aspects, for when you just want a camera with you just in case.

    Wanted an all in one lens to carry around when out walking. It is roughly the same size as my Nikon 18-105mm but actually lighter and that slightly longer range. The quality is not as good as the Nikon but you have to look really really hard to see this. Most people who see my pictures are always impressed by them and see them for what they are. Love the newer version of this lens as it has the vibration control built in, you can actually hand hold as low as 1/30th. Worth the upgrade.

    If you are looking for a lens for general use and that doesn't cost the earth I doubt you could buy better. Feels good, focuses well and is relatively light. Attached are pictures taken with the lens.

    Bang for the buck

    Not as crisp as the equivalent Nikkor and adds a bit more distortion. Still a nice all-rounder, light enough to carry everywhere and at a pricepoint that meant dropping the lens on a rocky ledge didn't really matter that much. A solid 5/7.
