    The Next Seinfeld but on Cable TV

    Take the best elements from Seinfeld and Arrested Development and you have It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia. Combining the social-degenerate-buddy formula (three men, one woman) with the beyond-dysfunctional-family element, Philadelphia creates scenarios that are so hysterical, wrong, appalling, familiar, embarrassing, uncomfortable, and entertaining, the show is addictive like staring at a car wreck when you know you shouldn't, but you just can't look away; it's invigorating like a fresh, loud, wake-up slap on the face. The writing, the quick timing, and the performances are so natural, one wonders if anyone is even acting (but hopes to heaven they are).     Sunny On Philly = Seinfeld Squared

    It’s basically Seinfeld on steroids. I LOVE Seinfeld and Love Sunny in Philly. Great Humor of 4 goofballs “owning and operating” a bar in South Philly. Danny Devito jumps in later in the series and is a great addition. This show is amazing and highly recommended for anyone who was a Seinfeld fan.

    Fun episodes, after a slow start

    If you like betrayal and making schemes for personal benefit, then not only is something seriously wrong with you, but you’ll also probably like this series. Well, outside of Season One, which was a rough, very slow start, but it’s entertaining, anyway. Plus, Danny DeVito!

    Always good to try something new

    I am glad I bought this and watched the shows and at least I will understand references in popular culture. But some elements were not that entertaining. It was engaging and pleasant viewing, however not particularly endearing. I may try it again at some point.
