As described, well balanced sickle, keeps an edge, square handle provides for good grip
Easy to sharpen, holds edge pretty well. Blade secured on handle firmly with bolts. Nice balance and size to swing through to cut weeds etc. Pointed end of blade can be useful too. Square handle is easy to grip - though I generally strap my hand onto the handle for extra security.

This item for the price does the job. I would however only recommend it for small areas as I found the wooden handle didn’t really fit the hand comfortably. I had a large areas of tall overgrown weeds which I did manage to cut down but after a while my hand really ached. The wooden handle needs to be re shaped to fit more comfortably in the hand. Better of buying an old type sythe if you can find one
This item is very badly made & awkward to use as it seams to be out of balance aslo the blade is not very sharp and roughly made the handel is square and feels awkward i have not used this item on grass/brambles ect yet so don,t know how it will perform but it is certainly not a very well made or thought out tool.

Beautiful tool
I bought this tool for clearing big nettles in a ditch around our property. I felt I needed to swing it really hard to cut through the stems and thought it might have been easier with a proper long handle… however it’s a beautiful well made tool. I struggled with the handle- it didn’t sit easy in the hand because of its squarish shape - I got a couple of blood blisters.

The product is well made , and was delivered in short time, Unfortunately it did not do the job I want...I made a mistake..I should look for some thing else; mechanical or electrical cutters I will safe this tool and perhaps give it to a friend for Xmas ,wedding or birthday present..!!
