    Jaguar XK rear boot battery cover trim panel.

    This is not the correct height at the rear upright portion for the XK coupe and I think it’s only meant for the convertible, which is lower due to the folding roof storage pod being placed over the top. This meant that, in my car, there’s a gap above the cover of about 5-6 inches where the metal work and rear seatbelt mechanisms are showing. Nevertheless, the cover fits perfectly with my original screw fixings and is obviously brand new, as described. The price is fine too. To overcome this issue, I have manufactured a trim piece from 3mm hardboard and managed to source material which is exactly the same as the original to cover it and fitted it behind the supplied part and it extends up to the correct height to cover the interior bodywork behind the rear seats.
