Came quick, camera was really good price and is working although description did not state if it worked or not nor were messages responded to. Had to take a risk for the low price but it paid off. Good seller, just wish there was communication.

Even though there was a problem with the order initially, the seller went absolutely above and beyond to resolve the issue to everyone s satisfaction, especially mine. I can t say enough about the tremendous communication, the VERY fast shipping and the perfect packaging of the item, which arrived BEFORE it was expected once the issue had been addressed. This seller is VERY honest and hard-working when it comes to any issue and puts the customer first. ABSOLUTE HIGHEST RECOMMENDATION POSSIBLE!

  • Ease of use, and a great value- put a Geko in your pocket!

GREAT PRICE FOR RELIABLE GPS & EASY TO USE! I purchased this as a backup for another more elaborate gps that has a proprietary battery that must be recharged in the field. This unit takes standard alkaline batteries and they can be changed in the field- allowing for almost endless use if you carry spares. The Geko is so easy to use- I could set the waypoint or destination and hand it to almost anyone and be relatively sure that they would get there. Add to this it's small size and bright color- and it was easy to justify taking it along "just in case"- which I found to be quite often! The only real drawback is it's lack of a basemap- but at this price/value- what can you really expect? We have used our Gekos (multiple) in many terrains and my son even used it for orienteering class ...

  • Cheep GPS thats workable

The Garmin Geko 201 is an entry level GPS with a few extras that rank it above the Garmin Geko 101 but below the Garmin etrex. The 201 is accurate and rugged enough and yet cheep enough for someone just starting out with GPS sports like Geocaching. The controls are simple enough to use one handed if need be and the manual is simple to read. The bright color and rugged water proof design means that the 201 will stand up to most light to medium abuse it might encounter while in normal operation. The main difference I see between the 101 and the 201 is the ability to link to a computer, instead of taking a number of minutes manually entering waypoints you can simply upload them within 30 seconds. If your not sure if you want to get into sports like geocaching then buy the 101 or 201 till ...

  • GARMIN GEKO 201

Geko 201 is great value. It is a budget, non-mapping gps (i.e. no frills). As such, it does not have a high quality sensor. What it does have is the ability leave a breadcrumb trail so if you get lost, you can reverse it to find your way back. It does not have the ability to upload or display maps. However, I get around this by adding waypoints and then editing the waypoints for GPS coordinates I already know (from trail guides, etc.) and presto- trail map. Or at least trail waypoints. The unit is waterproof, small, lightweight, and for $36 on eBay (including shipping) I feel it is a bargain. Would a maping GPS be nice? Yes, but this is a great back-up.

  • An accurate, easy to use GPS

I love this GPS unit. It is dead on with its coordinates. The buttons, located on the face of the unit, are easy to push (a lot of the handhelds have their operation buttons on the side - more difficult to grasp & push if you have small hands or arthritis) and the screen is large enough to see clearly. Pocket-size and very portable, this is a terrific tool - especially if you are going Geocaching! We also use ours as back-up when fishing a new lake - which is great for being sure to get back to the dock! The only bad thing is that Garmin no longer makes this unit. They will, however, still provide support for it.
