Sigma 18-300mm f4-5.6 DG macro .. a mount
Pleasantly surprised at how crisp the images are from this lens, which I bought for less than £75.99 in as-new refurbished condition from Sigma. I needed to spend an extra £25 for an a-e mount adapter, but it works beautifully with my Sony a6000. Although I have to manually set the aperture on the adapter ring, and focus manually, this really isn't a major problem and I immediately got some nice photos of birds in my garden and spring flowers. I haven't fully explored its macro capabilities yet but a quick try out gave me sharp photos indoors under electric light despite the largest aperture of f4. Very happy to recommend this lens, and the Sigma refurb team, it looks like new. Had to spend an extra £2.99 for a rear lens cover so I can keep the adapter attached to the lens when not on the ... Sigma lens on Sony Alpha
I find this lens to be excellent value and performs perfectly for my purposes and seems to me to be very little different from those at three or four times the price. I am not a professional but find the image quality, focus etc perfect for me. I have bought a second, identical lens for my enthusiastic daughter, who has had her work published.

Sigma 70-300mm f/4.0-5.6 DG Lens For Minolta/Sony
Good value for the product, paid £47 + about £10 P&P. The lens takes reasonable photos, but probably would go for a better quality 300mm zoom lens, later, when I can afford it. I have contacted Sigma re reports that the focus gears can be stripped, the reply came back: "This happens when lenses are mis used or handled the wrong way." I bought he lens as a "Starter zoom lens."

Sigma 70-300 Apo DG zoom
Smooth focus action with easy grip on lens that is very good even when your hands are cold.The markings on the lens are clear and easy to read. I tested the lens with a tripod and at both ends of the zoom range it produced good contrast and fine detail, and compared very favorably with my Nikon lenses that were a good deal more expensive.I would be happy to recommend this lens.
