I am not sure if it’s the enclosure or the cable, but with the USB3C connector in one way round I only got 30 megabytes per second from it, but with the REVERSIBLE plug in the OTHER way round I got 300 megs per second. Not a problem now I found out but I was initially pretty disappointed at only seeing USB2 speeds. It’s fine now but just warn purchasers that in my case at least that reversible USB3 plug has a slow and a fast orientation :-).
