    Ziplock perfect portions - great item

    I love these bags. I cook for just me so I buy meat in bulk and use these bags to portion out my food and put them all in a larger bag for the freezer. They make my life so much easier.

    Great for bulk meat purchases

    I started purchasing meat in bulk at Costco. You can use these without ever having to touch your meat. I put a bag on my hand like a glove, pick up the (example: chicken breast) then pull the bag over the breast. I put at least a dozen in a gallon size Ziploc freezer bag and pop in the freezer. What is great, these bags don't stick together, so when I just need two breast, I take two out of the freezer bag with ease. These are a little pricey but I have tried fold over sandwich bags and they just don't work like these perfect portion bags. Love, Love, Love them Twilight Junkie

    Don't understand why Ziploc stop making these...

    These bags are amazing. They are thin and perfect for saving food. We use them to divide portions up to meal size and then stuff them into large baggies or a plastic bin before freezing. It's no mess because you stick your hand in the bag and take a portion. It's like wearing a glove. Anyway, flip the bag over the food and twist the end closed. I've used these for fruit, meat, fish, leftovers, and more. These are truly one of the greatest things I've ever used for freezing food.

    Great product discontinued by Ziploc

    Well here goes another great product discontinued by the manufacturer. Like Paradise Tea, Jubilee Kitchen Wax, Knott's Berry Farm Preserves and Lawry's everything, these products were eliminated when larger competitors purchased their rivals and promptly discontinued the superior products they made. Offending companies were: Lipton (they finished off Paradise Tea) ( it's still available online for a premium price) Smucker's (Sara Lee), they got rid of Knott's preserves and Johnson's Wax, (they discontinued Jubilee kitchen wax and Brite Floor wax) (although they sold the rights to another manufacturer so you can buy Jubilee online at least.
