Seller notes: “Overall fabulous unworn condition HOWEVER there are four issues to consider: the velvet collar is ... “Overall fabulous unworn condition HOWEVER there are four issues to consider: the velvet collar is sun-faded (please see photos 9 and 10); there is one moth hole 15cms up from front right of skirt (please see photo 12); some slight pinholing damage to the lining of the jacket (please see photos 10 and 11); and, the waist is small in proportion to the jacket ~ making me wonder if this suit was in the maker's "Petite" or "Junior Miss" range... However, there is a little on the seam allowances and the zip placket to play with and this may well be enough to enlarge the waist, should you need to (please see Photos 13 and 14 for side seam and placket allowances). Although the photos make the fabric look faded, it is just a trick of the light - the collar is the only area which is, in fact, faded. Personally, if this lovely suit fitted me, I would consider having the velvet replaced by a professional seamstress, since predominantly this garment is in extremely good condition.”
