Bought it to chop through lamb neck bones (for my dog). My last "butchers cleaver" had a big chunk snap off on the first attempt at a bone. It was 'made in China ' and cheap, so you get what you pay for I suppose.This one looks like it would cut through dinosaur bones.......with ease!
