The title GOLDEN BOY refers to Kintaro, a young sage-like boy whose goal is to learn all he can about life by taking a number of temp jobs and taking notes on people's behavior. He goes through six of these adventures in all, and all of them invariably contain a "golden girl," an attractive woman who captures Kintaro's attention and usually causes him lots of trouble. An excellent and often thoughtful series, GOLDEN BOY mixes an intelligent concept with lowbrow, often crude, humor and produces hilarious results.
