      Really high performance memory

      With Samsung memory chips being the best in the industry by a long shot it only makes sense to buy laptop RAM made by Samsung and this memory is why. Excellent thermal performance, excellent timings and high throughput. Paired with another stick that came with my GL553VE and the jump from single channel to dual channel memory is massive, almost tripled my frame rate as the single channel was a huge bottleneck.

      Does a good job

      The 2400mhz Samsung ram is alot faster than the oem equivalent I replaced at the same speed, its the timings that are key. One stick of 8GB IS SLOWER THAN 2 X 4GB STICKS due to single channel bandwidth limitations so consider if upgrading from 4GB to 8GB using two 4's instead of one 8GB. If your machien only has one DIMM slot then your screwed :P Dont pay more than £40 for a 8gb stick in 2019 tho.

      Adding extra RAM is always a good idea

      Increasing the amount of RAM in your computer is often a cheap and simple way to improve performance. My Lenovo M900 Tiny only had 4GB installed when I received it - fitting two 8GB modules seemed to make it much more responsive.
