    Guide rail

    Brilliant addition to my kit, when I haven't got power or don't want to use the generator I can use this on both my DHS680 18v and DHS710 36v circular saws for completely straight cuts without having to get the plunge saw out. Highly recommended if you have the guide rails. Used to cut 8x4 laminated sheets down, work tops to length and so on, with the same finish as you get with the plunge saw.

    It's not a lot of use.

    Look it's a bit of overpriced plastic with a couple of rods. No info and fiddly to set up. It does slide along the guide but being honest it is no better than a cheap guide or even a cheaper latt. As I wanted a straight cut I have since bought the plunge saw for which the rail system was designed. As I said very overpriced for what it does.

    Makita saw guide.

    I used this when it was fitted to my 18v cordless Makita saw to cut some 12mm plywood. It did exactly what was needed and enabled me to cut very accurately. Thank you.
