  • Moodies debut 'Question' to a massive audience.

Rare example of the classic 1967 - 78 line up in concert and it stands up well. Filmed and recorded along with many of the other bands at the 1970 Isle of Wight Festival by Murray Lerner bur remained unreleased until the 90's unlike Hendrix whose set was partially released quite quickly to cash in on Jimi's untimely death a few days after his appearance. Back to the Moodies, the then new album A Q uestion of Balance had been constructed with the intent of making the songs easier to perform live and they were right. Question, the lead single off the album is one of the Highlights here and continued in the Moodies live set to the present joining Ride my Seesaw and Knights in White Satin as crowd favourite. Superb set, recommended.
