    well, it crumbled rather than cut the small pills it was bought for, and with larger pills [we tried lozenge shaped paracetemol] it cut into several bits rather than two. softer composition pills might be easier. at least after cutting the results stay within the "tray" so no medicine actually lost. At this price not a problem. It was reccomended by my GP so I must no complain !!!!!

    Doesn't split tablet exactly in half, no matter how hard you try! Can see it probably won't last long as quite flimsy, but what can you expect from the price. It'll do me for what I want.

    The cutter works well and splits pill very easily. However, the first time I used it I was holding it in my hand and the cut pill shot out of the holes in the base onto the floor. I now always use it on a flat surface so the pill drops just underneath it if they do come out. It's not a problem, just something to be aware of and I am pleased with how well it works.
