Worked quickly in the sun, varnish started to bubble in 15 minutes and was easy to scrape off, removed the small parts by scrubbing with water and white vinegar and leaving to dry before I sand down. Great price and quick delivery 5* seller.

Does what it says but its not the best to remove vanish even leaving it on to soak in for a hour. But it is cheap & it does help.

    Really good

We bought a recognised brand from b&q and had also ordered this, it was twice as good as the stuff we bought in b&q and took of gave the time

  • Most critical review

Good for light jobs but not for historic established paint.

Bought this to strip a radiator which already had flaking loose paint. Took off the top layer but left a lot behind. 2 applications and a lot of time and wire brushing still left a lot behind. The mess and the fumes are incredible so take care wit that. This is probably good for a layer of 2 or spray paint which hasn't been there thing. For multiple layers of ancient paint, something stronger required.

  • Useful, product, works well

Since Methylene Chloride was banned, it's been difficult to find an effective paint stripper - but I'm glad to say that this stuff is almost as effective, and certainly safer to use. It needs to be applied as thickly as possible and then left for an hour before the softened paint can be scraped off. Remnants can be removed with water with a little detergent added.

  • I can’t compare it to anything else because this is the only brand I’ve tried but it does work quite well. GC.

It’s okay. Does what it’s supposed to do. GC.

  • Quite good for price.

I'm glad I brought this stripper it works quite well on a louvre door that has about 15 years worth of paint. Does not remove all layers in on but a few applications should do the job.
