To move beyond the level of beginners' Japanese, it is necessary to master new vocabulary, kanji and expressions, as well as grammatical structures and communication strategies, and to practice each of these in their various usages. This can only be achieved through a systematic approach that builds on each aspect of the language in an organic way and respectively links them to the language as a whole. This intermediate Japanese textbook has been designed to meet these needs.
