Worth every penny!
I have two copies of this game! Both are the special edition and one is for collection. From what I have seen this special edition version is soon to be one of the most coveted rare copies we will see for a while. Many fans were born when it was first released on PS2, many more when it was remastered for PS3, and now it has been made from the ground up. The numbers of fans continue to grow yet the game itself, for the most part, remains unchanged for over 10 years. We do not see this happen very often and nostalgia is one of the most desirable affects we gamers seek. That is, of course after adrenaline and adventure , which is also provided in a great way by this game. The standard version is not hard to find or very expensive. A great way for someone who is unfamiliar with this game to begin enjoying this unique experience. The special edition however is becoming increasingly more difficult to find ever since Best Buy and Walmart sold out. Yes, that's right! Our largest game retailers, Walmart and Best Buy, could not keep up with the demand for this rare special edition. I have seen the steelbook by itself sell for $50 which is just as much as what the entire special edition used to cost before the sellout. I paid close to $90 apiece for mine and I'm very happy with what I received.
