    Making the most of low light, fast shooting

    I like to do photography in twilight magic hour conditions so the monopod fills my needs with fast setups in changing conditions. Tripod is the best for if you have enough time to dwell on the right condition and setups. The monopod is well constructed and enables almost immediate setup to capture fleeting conditions.

    My Favorite

    I bought this to replace my old EZ pod of 20 years. There are several reasons why I am sold on this design. First is the spring loaded top that allows me to adjust the height by pushing one button and locking it with another button. It's automatic for me. Next is the inclusion of a tilt head to move the camera forward and back and a quick release plate. This saves me from buying a special head. There is also a quik release included.I did buy a Manfrotto tilt head to add side to side ability. Now I can do anything a tripod can do in a light weight easy to use monopod. Finally, it can be set up on a few seconds and stored in as little time and it comes with a shoulder strap attached Oh yeah, one more plus is that this was made in Japan, not china.     Great Monopod

    Excellent monopod. The leg extension locks in place firmly and the top section can be adjusted up and down using the rocker switch. The part I like most is the quick release base attachment for the camera. You can mount and take off the monopod easily and quickly. This is a great monopod.

    Light weight and very functional.

    I bought this monopod to go with a Fuji Film X100V camera for street photography. For that task, I wanted something light weight, functional, and low profile. I have not used the monopod yet, but it is compact, light weight, works well, and is reasonably priced. If I have problems with it, I'll do a follow-up evaluation.
