Whoever packaged the book seems to have thrown it against a wall in a rage, as the book arrived badly damaged in one corner, the dust jacket missing a chunk where the book impacted the wall/floor or whatever. No note enclosed to apologise or explain - did they just hope I wouldn't notice? NO apology in reply to my complaint, NO acknowledgment of any fault on their part, just an angry rant saying that my "insinuation" was inappropriate!!
