About this product

Product Information

In May 1943 a specially established RAF squadron made its permanent imprint on military aviation history by flying a high-risk, low level, nighttime attack against German hydro-electric dams vital to the Nazi armaments industry in the Ruhr Valley. A comparatively tiny part of Air Chief Marshal Sir Arthur Harris' four-month-long Battle of the Ruhr this one raid had an impact totally out of proportion to the small number of aircraft involved. It highlights the synergy of science and technology, weapons development and production, mission planning and practice, and the unflinching courage in the execution of a highly dangerous bombing raid. Furthermore, it established a legend that still resonates today.

Item as described, well packaged, great price, unfortunately it took 9 days to arrive from stated dispatch date and seller didn’t respond to my request to investigate why tracking was still showing it as awaiting dispatch for a number of days.

Item arrived earlier than expected, long delivery time but isn’t necessarily the sellers fault only standard shipping available. Item decently packaged could have been more securely packaged though. Good price compared to other marketplaces and sellers. I cannot comment on the seller’s communication as I did not contact the seller. Overall good experience only complaint would be delivery time but again this isn’t solely the sellers fault.

Item arrived on time and was packaged well. The item was exactly as advertised and was amazing value compared to other places. The seller was also incredibly speedy at replying to my enquiries. Although it was not the fault of the seller (the packaging used to send the item was more than sufficient), my figure did have a manufacturing defect (the left hand was broken off). Thankfully superglue put it back in place and no one can tell it was broken.
