    Good Machine

    The 4 star rating is due to the instructions do not say that you don't have to punch the material before placing the gromet. That being said, it does work with thin canvas without first punching the hole. The machine is sturdy and seems as if it will last.

    I wish I had bought a name brand one first

    This grommet press is good for light weight materials and good luck finding grommets for it.. I resold this one and paid a much higher price for a name brand machine - a Micron TP3 - and bought the Micron self piercing grommets that cut rite through heavy material like polyester. I have found that I have to buy the same brand grommets for it,, Most all grommets will be different and will not fit other machines.And you can not get the self piercing grommets for the China machine.

    great buy

    this is one of the most useful tools i have purchased! for this low price, i got plenty of grommets in 3 sizes and the dies to set each size, with the added bonus of having a machine that works with snap dies as well...i’m currently waiting for my buttons and dies to see if they fit also! totally worth the price for the grommetting alone.
