GREAT MAG AND GUN
THIS A GREAT MAG , BUT IT MUST BE SLIGHTLY MODIFIED TO FUNCTION PROPERLY. THE TOP OF THE ENGAGEMENT HOLE FOR THE MAG CATCH SHOULD BE SLIGHTLY FILED TO LOWER THE MAG FOR EASY INSERTION. ONLY ABOUT .002 . YOU CAN DISASSEMBLE THE MAG AND FILE OR SAND THE BOTTOM OF THE MAG FOLLWER A BIT TO ADD AN EXTRA ROUND, LITTLE AT A TIME. I ALSO POLISHED THE FEED RAMP WITH A DREMMEL . Does not seem as good as it should be
This magazine is greatly inferior to the magazine that came with the pistol. Curious because is appears to be made by Taurus. 1) The fingers at the top are bent in too much and it is difficult to load bullets. 2) The magazine does not easily slide into the pistol (sticky like it is too wide). 3) When the magazine is fully inserted into the pistol it does not click into place, it will just pull right back out without pushing the release button. The only way to get it to latch is too push it in all the way, and then give it an additional smack. The magazine that came with the pistol works very nicely, like expected, so I have something to compare to.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Right mag, if you can find it.
This difficult to find factory magazine is the correct one for the PT-22 poly model. Works as it should, needing no adjustment. Easy and simple to load. I keep several, fully loaded and rotate one empty weekly to relax the spring. After a year, the tension has only relaxed a tiny amount. They are a bit pricey for the materials in it, but scarcity/demand keeps the price up.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Needs a little tweaking
This mag has a different shoe than the original one that came with my PT22. It fits but needs to be tapped firmly upward to get it to seat in the handle. Stays in place securely once it is seated but can easily drop out if you don't hit it hard enough to make it click into place.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Perfect, might be better than the original
First I didn't think it would work without tweaking like some reviewers have stated. It's polymer not metal but it still works. The holes were tighter and it took me a bit to figure it out but it worked so well. On my original I had one FTF, but it was with some cheap ammo, not CCI and this one there were no problems cheap ammo or not.
