A classic collection of art from one of my favorite childhood series! Other than a few very minor scuff marks on the exterior, this book was in excellent condition for a used item. Geek Nostalgia that Holds Up
I love this "art of," which is filled with great early images from the very beginnings of the Dragonlance line. It talks about the art and design choices, placing it in context with how the original concepts formed for the writers. Larry Elmore's work features heavily (my favorite fantasy artist to this day), but is loaded with work from all the greats of the TSR hay day; Easley, Caldwell, Parkinson, and more. It may not have the exterior flash and dazzle of more recent "art of" style books, but it's true to it's name and proves that new isn't always better.
