Over all it's a great book. The subjects are ok. It gives very general and brief introductions to specific subjects. It seems to me that the author may have written it as away to maybe secure a TV series. It written like that. Change "good" in title to "excellent". Add the words "beginners guide" and you should be well set
An excellent outdoor guide to Wilderness Survival. I wish there had been a book like this when I was working on my Wilderness Survival merit badge when I was in Scouting. This guide goes well above any information available that the Boy Scouts have. I'd recommend it as an excellent book on the subject.
