Arrived promptly in 13 days, but the DVD case was unfortunately damaged during shipping. Thankfully, the DVD is in perfect condition as is the paper cover, so I just replaced the case with another. It was packaged alright with the bubble wrap, but accidents happend during shipping... Other than that, as described and well worth the price.

  • A beautiful yet tragic tale about love and loss in a tiny rural english hamlet.

Whilst this is not my favourite Thomas Hardy novel, it does come close! This tragic story follows the course of Grace Mulberry's love affairs after returning home upon the completion of her education. Nature, love, mistakes and death run through this work much like Hardy's other stories (such as Far From The Madding Crowd and Tess of the D'Urbervilles). There are numerous passages dedicated to the enchanting description of the woodlands which connects all the central characters and serves as the primary setting where the characters met and develop their respective relationships.
