    Must have for revolver lovers

    This not only traces the history of Smith & Wesson, the company, but looks at parallel developments by other firearms makers as well as the American industrial scene from the mid 1800's up until fairly recent times...Time span is about 100 years. Smith and Wesson were each technical geniuses in their own rights and are responsible for much more than you might anticipate. It's a very worthwhile read and terrific reference on all their handguns. Many of which are still available as collectors pieces.

    Although this copy is the 1977 printing, it covers all Smith and Wesson history to that date. The information provided is accurate, well researched with many photographs. For collectors, the information nails down details specific to different production models. Well done, Mr. Jinks.
