Notes
Clocking in at 36 minutes, Is This It? packs it's perfect length with stellar songs that draw inspiration from all over the map. Among the many highlights are Last Nite with it's insistent motown backbeat and choppy johnny thunders-like guitar solo, Barely Legal, sounding like 1980s-era Cure fronted by a saucy Iggy Pop, and the jangly Someday with it's hairshirt of vulnerability from a bad break-up. While frontman Julian Casablancas drawls like Lou Reed through a busted intercom, guitarists Nick Valensi and Albert Hammond Jr do Tom Verlaine and Richard Lloyd proud as their sinewy chords intertwine to great effect on the angular The Modern Age and equally neurotic Alone, Together.

Great DVD - came new as described. The package decided to take a cross-country side trip before it got to me, but it was shipped on time and arrived safely in the end. Reliable seller! Thank you!

Perfect purple Flower tape dispenser made for Scotch tape. Original factory sealed packaging with the Original 2 unopened boxes of tape and the smaller roll of tape on the actual flower Dispenser itself. Was truly unexpected but well received. THANK You so much. Exactly as described by seller and Fast delivery

    Is this really it?

After hearing their great song "Last Nite" (and seeing the music video) I thought this album would be killer. But for me it was just a big letdown. Some of the songs had really nice beats but overall I just wasn't impressed.

  • Decent

Although the CD worked fine, the inside section which holds the CD in place was all broken, so I will have to get a replacement for the case. Still would recommend, with the heads-up that you may need to replace your case.
