Replace Pricey Cable / Satellite and SAVE $$$$
When I first subscribed to Dish satellite about 9 years ago it was around $35 month ... didn't include movie channels. It is now almost $100 a month... same content, no premium channels. My neighbor got a Clearstream and the quality of the picture is equal to or surpasses satellite - we're 25 miles from nearest transmitters. Better picture because video is not compressed like cable or satellite. Then my techie neighbor showed me how to stream favorite car and home improvement channels off my internet ... and movies off Netfilx. What an eye opener! I'm saving $1,200 a year and getting same network and PBS channels as well as steaming content with better picture quality. Its all very very good. One caution. Although this is described as an omnidirectional antenna, it really helps to experiment by pointing it at the transmitters plus or minus a few degrees to obtain the best reception for all channels. There are websites that guide you about the direction to point your antenna based on your zip code location. I used a cell phone while on my roof to communicate with my partner watching the TV. Only took a few minutes but now even the weaker stations come in crystal clear. Also, if you have an existing "mast" on which your satellite dish is mounted, you can remove it and attach this antenna to it. Easy Peasy. VHF range problem.
Receives UHF and VFH signals with the exception of VHF channels 1-10, which are lower power. Had to connect older VHF antenna to this antenna to get VHF channels 1-10. Did receive the UHF and VHF channels with better definition. The manufacturer needs to include an internal signal amplifier for the low power VHF signals. good picture w/ addition
good HD picture to cut cable. But you need to get a good 4 channel Tunner with TB hard drive to record four channels and channel it through wi-fi through the modem. Then you can watch it on your T.V., computer, tablet, phone, whatever you have that can hookup to your wi-fi. That will cost you about $ 400.00 more. But well worth it. If you have a second story put it up there. If you have access to your attic, that will be the best spot. I'm saving around $ 75.00 per month. That's $ 900.00 per year. A very good antenna
This was the third antenna I've tried. Trying to "see" around mountains in Arizona can be a real challenge. It finally brought in the channels I was seeking. It isn't a vast improvement but when comparing over the air antennas some times the slightest improvement is all that is needed. Good Antenna!

Clearstream 2V is better than 4V
After installing a Clearstream 2V antenna and using it for over 8 months, I decided to upgrade to a 4V. AFter the antenna's were swapped, some of the off-air broadcast channels that were about 47 miles away dropped off. When I reinstalled the 2V antenna, the signals came back. Clearstream obviously has a impedence mismatch or similar problem in the combiner. at the center of the two 2V antenna's. DO NOT BUY A 4V... unless you want to separate them and have two separate 2V antennas. FANTASTIC PRODUCT
hooked the antenna up in the lambing shed. Took all of 30 minuets to run the cable. Instant TV!! Son has one in his home and it is as clear as the big dish receives without contracts and monthly subscription fees which have gotten way out of hand. What a savings!! Thanks and thanks again. somewhat disappointing
I rate this antenna as "good", not "great". I live within 30 miles of several transmission towers, all in the same direction. The antenna is about 25 feet above ground. Only 1 station is continuously clear. All the rest are subject too interference from passing cars. I will try a signal amplifier and see what happens. great antenna
this antenna replaced a very large antenna we had add to the tv tower to try and pull in a station we wanted to watch the old antenna would pull the station in but the station would break up every once in a while. the clearstream now pulls that station in now very good, better picture and one more station that comes in very good at night. both station are around 60+ miles away. small size , well built. very happy so far with purchase. also shipping was very fast. from this seller.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned
