    Sony Digital Camera

    This camera was an inexpensive and easy to carry alternative to my more expensive Nikon Multiple lens camera. The Sony camera is less bulky and much more functional than using a camera phone. I am enjoying the opportunity of learning about utilizing the full functionality of this camera. I will use it more for taking pictures of my collections. Getting the charger and batteries and the camera bag also were helpful in fully utilizing this camera.

    Great camera

    Luckily I had my own charger - have another Sony camera that uses the same battery. Had a hard time in finding memory card, the camera wont work without the memory card installed. Found them in Ebay, bought two memory cards. Yes it works quite well and takes excellent pictures.

    Great for a step into digital photgraphy

    Im really glad I bought this camera. Ive been taking pictures as both an amateur and professional for close to five decades now and have been resistant to switch to digital format. I have several ver fine film cameras and lots of accessories for them. M into to diigital was with an old Sony DSC -5P and I really liked the instant review,portability and versatility. I just happened onto this listing..notice the Zeiss Lens and decided to take a chance. This camera is very versatile and, even at only 8.1 megapixels, produces great prints up to 8x10. Navigating the menus is a bit cumbersome and confusing at first and the controls are certainly more geared toward small hands: that's the only reason I don't give it five stars. All in all a very good camera
