One piece of the model is slightly melted, I assume from the friction of the padded envelope getting caught on something during shipping, and another part was broken, though neither problem is bad enough to be considered unfixable. An extra layer of bubble wrap around the item inside the padded envelope may have prevented the damage from happening at all.
