    Attempted repair

    These units operate as described however I was attempting to repair an old dvd recorder which these units didn't work. I didn't realize that these units were only cd writers but played dvds. I did find a dvd recorder that worked after testing several. I didn't have access to the drivers so finding the right one that worked took a little effort. I hope to locate someone that can use these units.
