    Simply Sweet

    One of the best Broadway Musical scores of the 1950s It has a stellar cast and wonderful, corny but fitting songs. A true joy to listen to.

    Nothing li'l here

    This is a terrific score and its political stance is as accurate when it was written as it is now. The down-home-folks are charming, and the politicians are sleazy, and the sun always shines in and on Dogpatch. As Johnny Mercer said, "The country's in the very best of hands..."
