Binding has minimal wear. The majority of pages are undamaged with some creasing or tearing, and pencil underlining of text, but this is minimal. I taught English to high school students for thirty years and not as current as I wish I had been in regard to these wonderful books. I hope to read as many as possible before my granddaughter can begin. Since she just turned 5 mos. I'm ok.
