    I had order this AC kit and when I received it had the wrong accumulator in it I reached out to seller just to get a BS response saying the system was down and it would be back up in 2 days I waited the 2 days messaged again same BS response this time saying it was down for almost a week.     Loosey goosey part, Amateur design

    Recommend only if you can improvise it. Good value if compared to buying complete intake assembly. Not sure about quality but design is flimsy. Part is not well designed for plastic attachments on the intake manifold. Fitting are too tight and makes it harder for vacuum pump to operate the entire assembly. Vacuum plastic lever will give in (weakest link in the operation) soon (Applying lubricant will not help much). Original Assembly operates without an effort. Basically improvise and reuse original metal arms (drill holes to fit stud). Original Metal lever are hardened steel, will erode/eat aluminum studs on the flap, protect it by providing a metal sleeve/ring/straw in the drilled eye on the arm (use same/similar material as original arms).

    The worst experience yet performing this repair

    I am a former Mercedes Benz tech and repair business owner. I have repaired at least a dozen of these intakes, but always sourced different parts. I will break down what I experienced with this part. I installed the part on an intake out of a 2008 C300 4Matic and the first problem was while I was testing the movement, the left rod come off due to the pin coming out and the washers fell on the ground. After I Installed it without the washers so the pin would stick out the other side, I hit it with a hammer to flare the back. I reinstalled the part and the ball sockets were too tight and the washer was too thick for the bolt to bottom out. This caused the assembly not to move at all. After I sanded down the ball ends and the washer, I put the assembly back on and now the end that I hit was ...
