    Dead & corroded batteries

    The manufacturer installed batteries in this product and provided a "try me" button on the package. As a result, older products arrive with dead & corroded batteries. While replaceable, the batteries are difficult to replace and the corrosion is difficult to remove. This was my second attemt to restore an older opener and met with limited success. No fault of the seller but the manufacturer designed a non-durable product.
