Under her guidance, the Eternal Word Television Network grew at a staggering pace, both in viewership and in influence, to where it now reaches over a hundred million viewers in hundreds of countries around the globe. Born Rita Rizzo in Canton, Ohio, in 1923, Mother Angelica was abandoned by her father and raised in poverty by a mother who suffered from suicidal depressions.     A Saintly Life

    This is a compelling book. If you pick it up you will have trouble putting it down. I am sure those of us who have watched and listened to Mother Angelica over the years will be amazed at the difficult life she led. This book is a must read.

    Magnificent Mother Angelica

    This incredible nun built a catholic tv network with the faith of God and lots of determination. Nothing could discourage her with God beside her. She is seen as she battles to fullfull her promise to Jesus to build a convent in Alabama.
