    Great WYSWYG user interface and lots of versatility

    It's easy to use and figure out, and has dozens of variations on each type of sound - so multiply those all by each other, and you can create 50 memorized rhythms you can call up for songs or types of songs, then adjust the tempo. I have paired it with a Boss pedal that can start and stop it, and also set the tempo.

    Nice drum machine BUT a lot of work

    Sounds great and you can save 50 favorite beats. BUT you need to create each one from scratch. Other drum machines like Boss DR 55 come with 50 or more factory presets you can use or customize or use with much less effort.

    Great sound w/ confusing readouts.

    I have been acclimating myself to the product. The sound quality is superb. I am having trouble syncing some function buttons to a matched double pedal. Instructions for the drum machine & pedal are followed to the t, but I get digital readouts on the Boss DR, that don't make sense. It's frustrating. I've called the Boss/Roland tech line twice w/ no call back. I'll review in the future if things change.
