      Brings aback A Lot Of Good Memories!

      I used to watch The Saint when I was a kid. It was on in the late afternoon so It was one of the shows I watched after school. Some of the plot lines are a bit quaint, but that's what watching old T.V Shows is all about. Roger More would go on to play a much more recognizable character in the 007 James Bond series. There are 6 seasons in this set and I am only through the 2nd season. The Guest Star List is a who's who of popular 1960s actors. I highly recommended this set to anyone who enjoys the James Bond series and fans of the Avengers T.V. Show. You will enjoy this set very much. 8 & 1/2 Stars out of 10! SOLID ENTERTAINMENT!

      Could Be Better But It’s Understandable!

      Looked forward to watching The Saint after a sample of one posted on YouTube. Ordered it and package arrived intact. Started well with first two episodes but then the next one froze after running a few minutes, started another disc, same happened and keep skipping non functional parts or discs! I guess that’s how they are but we keep watching what can be watched. I like that the black & white is nice and clear. It’s worth giving the set a try if not very fussy!

      The Saint the Complete Series Seasons 1 - 6 Boxed set is the perfect item for any avid classic tv series collector. This the entire six seasons of the original tv series starring Roger Moore as Simon Templar The Saint black and white and in color. The set contains four dvd sets in a Beautiful Collectable Slip case with many hours of action, adventure and intrigue that only Roger Moore could pull off so wonderfully. I used to love to watch this show back when I was just a kid in the sixties growing up the show was very well written and very entertaining. It has all the humor, action, suspense and twists and turns in story plots that reveal plenty of surprises. They simply don't make shows like this any more Roger Moore is smooth and elegant as Simon Templar who always ...

      Quality issues

      So far 2 of the 5 discs could not be played in their entirety. The program will just get sketchy...and then freeze. Tested player with other movies...and no problem. Fortunately...the episodes that froze were less than stellar...and the ones that played through were enjoyable. You do have to go into your TV settings menu and reset the aspect ratio...or the actors will appear too wide and flat.

      Excellent picture & sound quality!

      This show is fantastic! I watched it when I a kid, but like it better now that I am older. The set is a great bargain. I like that there are four cases in the set (not 2 large novel size cases like the Mannix set)
